Hello and welcome to this month’s
Kaleidoscope Theatre
online newsletter! Rehearsals for
our 2007 Summer Series

very exciting shows this
year!), remind you of some of our
upcoming performances,
announce some changes here in the
Kaleidoscope office, and

which Kaleidoscope
Theatre members will be involved!
In this issue you can read about:

1. UPCOMING DINNER THEATRE
PERFORMANCES!
Our recent performance of “Dial
M for Matrimony” at the
Homestead Gardens in North
Smithfield, RI was a great
success! This was our very first
dinner theatre show at this
venue, and things could not have
gone better. The show was
completely sold out, and the
audience really seemed to have
a wonderful time! Check out the
pictures for yourself on our
website at
http://www.kaleidoscopetheatre.com/weddingpix2.
If you missed the show last time,
then don’t worry – we’ve
got another evening’s entertainment
planned for Friday, July
13th! Again, the performance will
take place at 6:00pm at
the Homestead Gardens in North
Smithfield, Rhode Island, but
this time, the show will be “A
Killer Cabaret”! What good is
sitting alone in your room? Come to
the Cabaret! Life is a
cabaret, and so is death in this
entertaining song- and
dance-filled night of merriment
where audience members
become stars, and danger lurks
around every table. The
Cabaret's producer, Agrava Krispie,
famous author of
such mystery novels as Ten Little
Indecisions and
Death on Denial, presents her first
Cabaret. Her all-star
cast includes Lucky Charms as the
Master of
Ceremonies, Agrava's niece and
nephew Coco Krispie
and Rhyce Krispie, her
ex-sister-in-law Sugar Smax and
last but not least (and he will
certainly tell you!)
former child star Razen Brand. They
combine their
talents to make for an evening of
sweet entertainment.
But someone is trying to murder the
Queen of Murder
Mysteries! Audiences help track down
the 'cereal'
killer in time to remind us that
there is truly 'no
business like show business'. For
tickets, call Angela
at (401) 309-1882.
If you’ve got your heart set on
seeing our Italian wedding
murder-mystery, then mark Friday,
August 10th in your
calendars! We will be performing our
celebrated “Dial M
for Matrimony” again at the
Homestead Gardens at 6:00pm.
For tickets, call Angela at (401)
309-1882.

2. FAIRYTALE CHARACTER APPEARANCES
On Saturday, June 30, Kaleidoscope
held the first Character
Appearance of the summer at The
Homestead Gardens in North
Smithfield, RI! Rapunzel, the Mad
Hatter, and friends appeared
by the lake and in the gazebo, where
they signed autographs,
made balloon animals, and posed for
pictures with their
adoring fans!
Certain characters will return to
The Homestead Gardens every
Saturday throughout the summer, in
preparation for the upcoming
Tuesday performance at Rhode Island
College. Depending upon
the weather and other events at the
Garden, the characters will
either be stationed in the gazebo or
near the gift shop, where
they will greet guests, sign
autographs, and take pictures with
visitors.
The list of characters that will
appear is as follows:
Saturday 7/7 – Snow White
Saturday 7/14 – Alice and the Mad
Hatter
Saturday 7/21 – Fairy Godmother
Saturday 7/28 – Cinderella and
Prince Charming
Saturday 8/4 – Prince Noble and

3. FLEA MARKET/COLLECTIBLES SALE AT
THG!
Last month, Kaleidoscope and The
Homestead Group combined
forces to host a flea market and
collectibles sale at the
Homestead Gardens in North
Smithfield, RI. The event went
very well, and we are looking
forward to continuing this
tradition on the third Saturday of
every month through
October. This month, the flea market
will take place on
July 21st, from 8am-2pm.
If you’re a vendor that would like
to reserve a booth, or a
