With this issue, we'd like to congratulate some of our

1. UPCOMING DINNER THEATRE PERFORMANCES!

Tickets are going VERY QUICKLY for our performance
of "Dial M for Matrimony" at Homestead Gardens in North
Smithfield, RI on Saturday, June 9th! This hilarious Italian
wedding murder mystery is one of Kaleidoscope's most
popular dinner theatre productions! Seating is very
limited, and those that are left are going fast, so call
for your tickets today! For more information or to
reserve seats, please call Angela at (401) 309-1882!

If there are no more seats available, then don't worry!
We will be performing "A Killer Cabaret" on Friday,
July 13 at Homestead Gardens. What good is sitting
alone in your room? Come to the Cabaret! Life is a
cabaret, and so is death in this entertaining song- and
dance-filled night of merriment where audience members
become stars, and danger lurks around every table. The
Cabaret's producer, Agrava Krispie, famous author of
such mystery novels as Ten Little Indecisions and
Death on Denial, presents her first Cabaret. Her all-star
cast includes Lucky Charms as the Master of
Ceremonies, Agrava's niece and nephew Coco Krispie
and Rhyce Krispie, her ex-sister-in-law Sugar Smax and
last but not least (and he will certainly tell you!)
former child star Razen Brand. They combine their
talents to make for an evening of sweet entertainment.
But someone is trying to murder the Queen of Murder
Mysteries! Audiences help track down the 'cereal'
killer in time to remind us that there is truly 'no
business like show business'. For tickets, call Angela
at (401) 309-1882.

2. MUSICAL CHAIRS AT THE KTHQ!

Kaleidoscope Theatre is proud to announce that Frank
Galligan (who has been appearing in Kaleidoscope
shows since he was ten years old) was recently accepted
into Providence College's PACT program! For the next
two years, he will be earning a Master's Degree in
Education, while teaching Social Studies to middle
school students in Pawtucket!

As many of you may recall, prior to this exciting news,
Frankie was planning to fill-in as Kaleidoscope's
Interim Artistic Director; however, his grad-school
commitments will make him unavailable. Never fear,
Tommy's here!

Tommy Iafrate, Kaleidoscope's Artistic Director, was
able to rearrange his summer plans and return to us
here in Rhode Island. This summer, Tommy will be
directing many of our fairytale musicals, including
the world premiere of "Cinderella, Too!", and will be
appearing as Prince Noble in "The Frog Prince".
Welcome Back Tommy!

5. CONGRATULATIONS, BECKLEY AND ABBY!

Kaleidoscope is so proud of our members who succeed in
their chosen pursuits! This month we'd like to mention two
of our members who have recently received some good news!

Beckley Andrews, who started with Kaleidoscope at the age
of eight as Goldilocks and grew up performing in our shows
in such roles as Beauty (in "Beauty & the Beast") and
Pocahontas (in "Pocahontas"), has had a very exciting career
since moving to New York! After touring the country in the
national tour of "Grease," dancing on board the Queen
Elizabeth II, and working at regional theatres across the
country, she has recently been cast in the Encores!
production of Gypsy, starring Tony-Award winner Patty
Lupone! The production will be July 9-29 at New York City
Center. For tickets and more information about this
production, call (212) 581-1212.

Abby Spare, who currently plays Iggy Piggy in our
production of "The Three Pigs", was just cast in the
national tour of 'Annie'! She will be playing the role of
"Tessie" and will be on tour from September 2007 to
May 2008. Congratulations Abby; we're so proud of
you!

6. GOOD LUCK, SIARA!

Siara Padilla is one of our very talented younger actresses.
She has not only appeared in our productions of "Snow White"
(Doc) and "The Three Pigs" (first as Ralph Piggy, and this
summer as Ziggy Piggy), but she has appeared in Trinity
Rep's "A Christmas Carol" (Hunger) and "Annie" (Molly),
performed at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and her recent
film, "La Chiva" is likely to be screened at the Rhode Island
International Film Festival later this summer!

It is no surprise that with these tremendous accolades,
Siara was awarded the title Junior Teen Miss Rhode Island
Tourism 2007! Siara will be heading off to Cincinatti , Ohio
for the national pageant at the end of June, where she will
compete for the National Title of Junior Teen Tourism 2008!
Good luck, Siara!

Anniversary with a bang! A celebratory masquerade is being
planned for Friday, October 26th… so Kaleidoscope Theatre
members, save the date, start thinking of costume ideas, and
stay tuned for more details!

each month from June through October.)
