3. CONGRATULATIONS!
Kaleidoscope is so proud of our members who
succeed in
their chosen pursuits! This month we’d like
to mention three
members, who have recently received some
good news!
Marianne Douglas, our former Administrative
Director, is a
finalist for the 2007 Cable in the Classroom
Leaders in
Learning Award for creating her “Strategies
of Success”
leadership/success program for high schools.
For more
information on this ground-breaking program,
visit
Marianne’s website at
StrategiesofSuccess.com. To learn
more about the award, check out:

Jamie Dellorco, who will be seen this summer
on the
Kaleidoscope Stage as Snow White in “Snow
White”,
as the Mom/Granny in “Little Red”, and as
Putricia in
“Cinderella” and “Cinderella, Too” has been
hired by the
Merry-Go Round Theater in Auburn, NY as part
of their
Youth tour for the 2007-2008 season! Jamie
put together
an audition tape and then received a call
back with the
company at the New England Theater
Conference (NETC)
where she met with Tour Director James
Cantu. After
relocating to New York in September, Jamie
will be
spending the year performing and running
workshops
(along with 15 other performers) at schools
in the upstate
New York area.
Eric Desnoyers, who recently played the
Prince in
“Cinderella” and the Hunstman in “Little
Red”, has
accepted a summer stock job at the Foothills
Theatre in
Worcester, MA. This summer, he will
participate in four
children’s productions: “The Wind in the
Willows”,
“Tom Sawyer”, “Stuart Little”, and “School
House Rock”.

7. COLORING BOOK PROJECT UPDATE
As many of you know, Kaleidoscope is
working, in
conjunction with The Homestead Group,
towards producing
a “Cinderella’s Holiday Ball” coloring book
and corresponding
music CD, that would be on sale at our
concession stand and
CVS stores nation-wide this holiday season!
Currently, six
sample books are being created for
presentation to CVS
executives. Kaleidoscope is also producing a
music CD of
our “Cinderella” show (without the holiday
tunes) for sale at
our concession stand this summer! As a
preview, if you’d like
to see what the illustrator’s drawings might
look like
colored in, you can check out our online
‘blogs at:
