4. CINDERELLA'S NEW HOME DEBUTS
This summer, Kaleidoscope's most popular show
features a brand new drop! Thanks to a grant
from Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA),
local artist Laura McPherson painted a new cottage
home for Cinderella and the evil steps. Kaleidoscope
members also had the opportunity to work on the
drop!
The project
was a wonderful success and all the Kaleidoscope
volunteers had an amazing (and educational)
experience! To view photos of the painting process,
please check out Kaleidoscope Theatre's Myspace page
at www.myspace.com/kaleidoscopetheatre!
The drop will debut to the public at the first
"Cinderella" show of the summer on July 22nd!
Audience members will also have the opportunity to
evaluate the new drop by filling out a survey at the
Kaleidoscope Theatre concession stand. Thank you in
advance for your participation!
