The role of Jack will be played by Jeffrey Sewell of Weymouth, MA, the giant will be played by Chris Schultz of Winchendon, MA, and Jack’s mother will be played by Jamie Dellorco of Franklin, MA. Tickets can be reserved by calling (780) 230-EXPO! Tickets can now also be purchased online through Paypal here.

 2. BULLY at PPAC

Kaleidoscope has a wonderful opportunity to perform at the Providence Performing Arts Center as part of this year’s Bank of America Arts Showcase. The performance will be Thursday, November 5th at 9:30am. Over 1500 students, from grades 5-8, will be attending the performance!

This performance will feature the original BULLY script, but we will also be debuting some of the orchestrations for the upcoming “High School Bully” show. We hope this  combination of original script and updated music will be perfect for the middle school aged audience.

If you’re interested in bring our very successful anti-bullying program to your school, please call Kaleidoscope Theatre at (401) 942-3637.

3. HIGH SCHOOL BULLY UPDATE

At this time, we wanted to update you on the development of “High School Bully.” The script has been finished and the new music has been orchestrated. Next week, Kaleidoscope will start rehearsing the show!

The original “BULLY” program for elementary schools was performed in-the-round, meaning the  audience sits on all sides of the action. For the high school version, we will be performing in school auditoriums and need to adapt our staging and blocking to accommodate a proscenium or presentational set up.

Kaleidoscope performers will also start learning the new lines and music for the production and hope to have an initial preview performance in the next couple of months. Stay tuned!

4. CINDERELLA’S CHRISTMAS

Tickets for Kaleidoscope’s presentation of “Cinderella’s Christmas” at Rhode Island College are now on sale! The performance will be Sunday, December 13th at 2:00pm.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of show. To purchase tickets, please call the RIC Box Office at (401) 456-8144.  5. LITTLE RED RIDINGHOOD’S CHRISTMAS

Tickets are also on sale for our annual Christmas presentation at Scottish Rites Auditorium. We will be presenting “Little Red Riding Hood’s Christmas” on December 10th at 10:00am. Through the generosity of the RI Shriners, tickets can be purchased for the Christmas show AND a spring presentation of “Rapunzel” for only $5.50! (“Rapunzel” will be performed on May 13th.) The performances of “Little Red’s Christmas” and “Rapunzel” are ideal for school or daycare fieldtrips, but individual  families are welcome to attend as well!

This performance is being hosted by KaleidoscopeTheatre, so please call our office at (401) 942-3637 for ticket information.

6. THE MAGIC OF STORY TIME

New this year, Kaleidoscope is offering a new smaller scale school-touring production! Have two of our all time favorite characters, Snow White and Cinderella, come to your school and tell their tales!

This program lasts 45 minutes and includes the musical stories of both characters. The Magic of Storytime is a perfect fit for school reading weeks. Call Kaleidoscope at (401) 942-3637 for more information!
