recent fundraiser, “Alice Through the
Kaleidoscope” was a wonderful success. Thank
you for supporting it! The event
raised
over $1800 for our BULLY programs.

Tickets
for our Tuesday morning series in RI are now
on sale!
Call the
RIC Box Office at (401) 456-8144 to purchase
your tickets! Our 2010 Series opens
July 6th and runs through
August
24th. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day
of show. A season ticket for all eight
shows can be purchased for
only
$50! Regular tickets for all eight shows
would be $80... so a season pass can save
you $30! There is also a ticket rate
of
$5/ticket for groups of 25 or more.

Kaleidoscope will be presenting another
‘Fairytale in the Park’ at Roger Williams
National Memorial in downtown Providence,
RI. This
time we will be performing the newly
re-orchestrated, “Pocahontas”. The show is
August 14th at 4:00pm and there will
be a Providence Waterfire that night
following the performance!
This
performance is free, open to the public, and
outside... so bring a blanket, pack a picnic
basket, and join us for a
wonderful evening!

* David
Payton and the Edwards Twins
Several
years ago, our Executive Director, David
Payton, wrote a song for The Edwards Twins
(who impersonate famous
celebrities) called, ‘My Father's Son.’ It
has become an audience favorite and part of
the Twins' act. Now, the Edwards
Twins
are coming to RI! They will be performing at
the Via Roma on Federal Hill from July 11 to
August 27!
If
you're interested in seeing a performance,
tickets for tables up front are $49.95 and
it's $35.95 for tables in the back.
Ticket
price includes the amazing show and superb
dinner.

David
Payton started Kaleidoscope Theatre in 1977
and has written all of the scripts and music
for the company. If you
like his

* Chris
Schultz in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Chris
will be playing Oberon is a new darker
interpretation of Shakespeare’s play up in
Boston, MA. It’s being presented
by The
Contemporary Theatre of Boston and is
recommended for adult audiences only.
“Midsummer” is already open and runs
through
June 19.

will be appearing on the Kaleidoscope stage
this summer as the King in “Cinderella” and
as John Smith in “Pocahontas.”

Miscia in “Other People’s Money”
The Barn
Summer Playhouse will present "Other
People's Money" by Jerry Sterner at Roger
Williams University Performing Arts
Center
in Bristol, RI. The performances will be
June 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 at 7:30 PM. Tickets
are $10 general and $5 students and
seniors.

Jay
Miscia has appeared on the Kaleidoscope
stage as the Minister in “Cinderella” and as
the Wolf in “Little Red Riding
Hood.”
* Meg
Lowey, Graham Duff, and Luke Doyle in “Romeo
& Juliet”
The
Un-Common Theatre Company will present
“Romeo & Juliet” at the Orpheum Theatre in
Foxboro, MA from June 24 through June 27.

Meg, who
will be playing Juliet, and Graham can be
seen this summer on the Kaleidoscope stage

“Pocahontas.”

Larson as Rolfe in “The Sound of Music”
The
Theatre Company of Rhode Island will be
presenting “The Sound of Music” at the
Assembly Theatre in Harrisville, RI from
June

For the
4th year in a row, Dan will be playing the
Prince in our production of “Snow White.”
* Ryan
Hanley at Speed of Thought
Every
Friday night at 9:15pm, Ryan will be
appearing at the Speed of Thought Player’s
Improv. show. This hilarious
weekly
event is held at the Speed of Thought
Playhouse in North Attleboro, MA. The show
is recommended for ages 16+

This
summer for Kaleidoscope, Ryan will be
reprising his role as the Hunstman in
“Snow White” and portraying the
Minister
in “Cinderella.”
* Sam
Hood in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Sam will
be appearing in Trinity Rep’s Young Actors
Institute’s summer performance. The troupe
will be presenting this
Shakespearean classic the first weekend in

active member of our BULLY program, Sam can
