3. Meet the characters
4. Tickets
5. Other ways to help
1. “ALICE THROUGH THE KALEIDOSCOPE”
The Fairy Godmother is missing and without
her magic all of Fairy Tale Land is in
chaos. No one’s story is following the
path that it should and it seems that
“Happily Ever After” may be a thing of the
past. Even Alice (of Wonderland) has not
ended up where she is supposed to be. Now
she must team up with the Big (not so) Bad
Wolf to find the Fairy Godmother and put
everything right.
What: Annual Fundraiser, “Alice Through the
Kaleidoscope”
When: Friday, May 28th at 7:30pm
Where: Scottish Rites Auditorium, 2115 Broad
St., Cranston, RI
Call (401) 942-3637 for more information and
to reserve tickets!
2. SUPPORT THE CAUSE - “B.U.L.L.Y.”
This fundraiser has been put together in
support of our anti-bullying programs.
Kaleidoscope Theatre has been touring its “B.U.L.L.Y”
(Better Understanding by Listening and
Learning about You) program to elementary
schools since 2004. This fall, with the
help of John Reis and his P.A.V.E.
organization, Youth Pride RI, the RI
Foundation, and the Rhode Island Counsel on
the Arts (RISCA), we were able to adapt this
program to reach a high school audience.
Kaleidoscope Theatre
was honored with a 2009 Special Justice
Award from Rhode Island Attorney General
Patrick Lynch for this new adaptation of our
“B.U.L.L.Y.” program.
Kaleidoscope’s “B.U.L.L.Y.” program has
received other accolades from both teacher’s
and students.
“Unlike most presentations on bullying which
are delivered by adults, the high school
actors, who were amazingly talented, held
the students attention throughout the entire
play and consequently the message was
meaningful and relevant to them.”
- Trish Almquist, Director of Guidance, East
Providence H.S.
"I learned that bullying can really make an
impact on someone's life. To know that
someone could kill themselves over bullying,
that's pretty serious."
- Anonymous student
All proceeds from the event on May 28th will
go towards bringing “B.U.L.L.Y.” to an
elementary, middle, or high school that
could
not otherwise afford the program. To support
the cause, come join Alice on her magical
journey and help her find the Fairy
Godmother!
3. MEET THE CHARACTERS
Many of Kaleidoscope’s fan-favorite
characters will be featured in “Alice
Through the Kaleidoscope.” To see photos and
to see the profiles of other characters as
we get closer to the event, check out our
blog at -www.kscopetheatre.blogspot.com
ALICE & THE WOLF
On her way to Wonderland... everything
suddenly goes dark and Alice finds herself
lost in Fairy Tale Land! While wandering the
forest, Alice meets the BIG BAD Wolf whom
she's read about in some of her favorite
fairytales, but she soon realizes that this
Wolf isn't so scary after all. He agrees to
help her find someone magical to send her
back home... but he wants to find someone
magical for his own reasons. He's keeping
secrets from his new friend Alice... join us
to find out what's going on with the Wolf
and to see if Alice is able to find her way
home.
ALICE’S SISTER & THE WHITE RABBIT
Alice's sister is just trying to educate her
sister in the ways of the world... by making
sure she's well read in literature, fairy
tales, and poetry. Unfortunately, Alice is
more concerned with chasing a rabbit she's
found in the yard. What Alice's sister
doesn't know is that this Rabbit has a
pressing engagement at the Queen of Heart's
royal court... and if Alice follows the
rabbit, she'll embark on a wonderful and
crazy adventure.
CINDERELLA & HER STEPSISTERS
Cinderella is trying to get to the ball...
but the stepsisters destroyed the dress she
fixed up from the attic and then her Fairy
Godmother vanished before being able to help
her! Not to worry, the stepsisters aren't
having a good day either... They want to
marry the Prince, but they'll never catch
him looking like that! Find out on May 28th
if any of them get to the ball and win the
Prince's heart.
PRINCE NOBLE & ANYA, THE GYPSY QUEEN
The Gypsy Queen is a woman who's used to
getting what she wants... And what she wants
is Prince Noble to fall in love with her.
Unfortunately, the dashing Prince is more in
love with himself than with anyone or
anything else. Look out Prince Noble, if
Anya uses her magic, you might be spending
the rest of your life living in the nearby
well. What do you think she might do to him?
LITTLE RED, JACK, & THE GIANT
Jack and Little Red have not been very good!
Jack stole a golden harp from the Giant and
Little Red never took her basket of goodies
to granny! To make matters worse, they lied
about what they did! Now their stories are
all askew and they're looking for some magic
to help put things to right. Let's hope the
angry giant doesn't find them first... join
us May 28th to find out!
THE FAIRY GODMOTHER
This famous fairy is missing… and without
her magic, everything has started to go
wrong in the Fairy Tale Land Forest. Help
Alice find the Fairy Godmother and make sure
all your favorite characters live happily
ever after.

share a story about why you think the
program is effective.
