1. ALICE THROUGH THE KALEIDOSCOPE
Our summer season is just around the corner, but we still have two spring performances that we hope you can support! On Friday, May 13th we will be hosting our second annual BULLY program fundraiser. All proceeds from this special performance will go towards bringing our award-winning program to schools that could otherwise not afford it.
We hope you and your family can join us next Friday and help Alice (from Wonderland) put all the mixed-up fairytales back together. Kaleidoscope fans will recognize many of the songs and characters from our fan-favorite shows and will enjoy an original, family-friendly, story.
The Fairy Godmother is missing and without her magic, all of Fairytale Land is in chaos! No one’s story is following the path that it should and ‘happily ever after’ might be a thing of the past. Now Alice (from Wonderland) must travel down the rabbit hole and put everything right. Join us on Friday, May 13th at 7:30pm to see how she does it!
2. MEET THE CHARACTERS
Here are some of the characters who will be appearing in our“Alice Through the Kaleidoscope” fundraiser!!
ALICE AND THE WOLF On her way to Wonderland... everything suddenly goes dark and Alice finds herself lost in Fairy Tale Land! While wandering the forest, Alice meets the BIG BAD Wolf that she's read about in some of her favorite fairytales, but she soon realizes that this Wolf isn't so scary after all. He agrees to help her find someone magical to send her back home... but he wants to find someone magical for his own reasons and he's keeping secrets from his new friend Alice...
CINDERELLA Cinderella is trying to get to the ball... but the stepsisters destroyed the dress she fixed up from the attic and then her Fairy Godmother vanished before being able to help her! Not to worry, the stepsisters aren't having a good day either... They want to marry the Prince, but they'll never catch him looking like that!
ANYA AND PRINCE NOBLE The Gypsy Queen is a woman who's used to getting what she wants... And what she wants is Prince Noble to fall in love with her. Unfortunately, the dashing Prince is more in love with himself than with anyone or anything else. Look out Prince Noble, if Anya uses her magic, you might be spending the rest of your life living in the nearby well. What do you think she might do to him?
THE FAIRIES Alice and the Wolf are looking for someone with magical powers to help Alice get home... but the Three Good Fairies aren't going to be able to help. They cast a sleeping spell to protect the castle until Sleeping Beauty awakes, but it rebounded and put them to sleep instead! The Blue Fairy is having trouble with her magic too, but she can still tell when someone's lying to her... Perhaps it's time for the Wolf to come clean...
THE 3 PIGS The 3 Pigs are not having a good day! The Big Bad Wolf has been at it again... huffing and puffing till all their houses blew down. But, is the Wolf trying to actually eat the Pigs or is he just upset about something? Maybe the Pigs should just learn how to build stronger houses... In the meantime, they're moving into another fairytale's neighborhood. Whose house do you think they'll decide to live in?
