The school year has started, the fall season is here and Kaleidoscope is in full swing. We have a full roster of

school-touring performances and fairytale musicals… and we hope to see you at one of our events soon.

1. OTHER FALL & WINTER PERFORMANCES

 

Two beloved holiday classics return to the Scottish Rite Auditorium this season

 

Here’s the line-up:
 

Little Red Riding Hood’s Christmas
Thursday, December 1st, 11am – Perfect for a Field Trip!
 

Cinderella’s Christmas
Saturday, December 3rd, 11am AND 2pm
 

Ticket information:

 

     Advance:

     $10 per ticket

     Group rate (25 or more): $5/ticket

     Credit card fee: +$2/order

 

    At the Door:

    $12 per ticket

Kaleidoscope Theatre will also be making various appearances at the Roger Williams Park Zoo at the annual Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular and Spooky Zoo Event, weekends October 14th-30th.

2. SCHOOL-TOURING PROGRAMS

 

Kaleidoscope has a variety of shows available to schools this year, including the newly remounted, “Pocahontas!”

 

If you have any questions about any of the programs or are interested in bringing one of these award-winning shows into your child’s school, please let us know.

 

Available productions:

* “B.U.L.L.Y.” - anti-bullying strategies

* “I’m Special, You’re Special” – inclusion of differently-abled students

* “Little Red Riding Hood” – teaches independence & stranger awareness

* “Goldilocks & the Three Bears” – teaches manners, etiquette & responsibility

* “Jack & the Beanstalk” – teaches persistence

* “Pocahontas – The True Story” – historical account of the tale

4. SUPPORTING OUR MEMBERS

 

Emily Luther (Alice in Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella in Cinderellla) won the Perez Hilton cover competition and has been signed with Ellen DeGeneres for a recording contract.

 

Olivia Sczuroski (Friendly in Snow White, Young Thomas Rolf in Pocahontas) will be performing in “Annie” in early December for Bradley Playhouse Theatre.

 

Ali Angelone (Uglicia in Sleeping Beauty, Putricia, Disgustia in Cinderella and the Blue Fairy in Pinocchio)

recently joined the faculty at the University of North Dakota as an Assistant Professor of Movement/ Acting/Dance and am currently directing their first mainstage show of the season "Time Stands Still"

Olivia Gesualdi (Sleepy, Doc in Snow White) is going to be playing Jasmine in the production of Aladdin, JR at the  Stadium Theater on November 4th, 5th and 6th.

 

Donnie-Rae Brearton (Grumpy in Snow White, Mouse in Cinderella) is featured in an article in the Warwick Beacon for making it to the second round of auditions for television’s “The X Factor”. Search “X marks the spot

for teen’s aspiring performance” by Jessica Botelho.

 

Jamie Dellorco (Everything, most notably – Snow White) is playing Lady Demimond Degage Saturdays and Sundays at King Richard’s Faire in Carver, MA until October 23.
